1. What type of Internet services does Advantages Internet have to offer?
We offer both a dial-up connection at 56 Kb/sec and a High Speed service at 3Mb/sec. Our services are available for either personnal or business purposes.

2. Does your High Speed service tie up my phone line?
No. Our ADSL technology only uses the digital part of your phone line, and voice or fax services use an analog signal. Therefore, you can surf on the web and use your telephone at the same time.

3. What are the system requirements to use Advantages Internet's services?
Before signing up, make sure your computer meets the following requirements:

4. What would be the maximum speed of your High Speed service?
Download: 3 Mb/sec

5. Is there any bandwith limit?
None. You may use your Internet connection, wheter it is dial-up or High Speed, with no restriction.

6. Do I need a special modem in order to use you High Speed service?
You will need an ADSL compatible modem. Advantages Internet gives you the opportunity to either rent a modem for 7,95$/month, or buy your own modem.

You will also have to consider buying phone filters, which are use in order to split the digital and analog signal of your phone line to avoid interference, for every phone that you use. Phone filters are sold seperatly at 6,95$ each.

7. Are there any other fees to consider?
A 25$ administration fee will be added on your invoice for any service activation. For customers who ask for their modem kit to be delivered by our courrier service, please note a 15$ shipping and handling fee will apply.

8. Can I still use your High Speed service if my phone provider is not Bell Canada?
Yes. Please contact your phone company and ask or your circuit number. This information will be asked by one of our order desk agents to verify service availability.

9. I do not have a landline. Can I still use Advantages Internet's High Speed service?
Yes. Please contact our order desk for more details.

10. What billing methods do you accept?
Advantages Internet accepts payment by Visa and MasterCard.

11. Can I get extra email addresses?
For sure. Any additionnal email account will be charged at 2$ per month.

12. Do you offer a static IP service?
Yes, for both residential and business customers. Please contact our order desk for more information.

13. Do I need to inform you if I move or switch my phone service to another provider than Bell ?
To avoid any service interruption, please contact customer service a minimum of 5 business days in advance.

1. What billing methods do you accept?

2. Can I receive my bill by regular mail?
In order to keep our operation fees low, we can only accept credit card payments. You may still receive a copy of your invoice by e-mail, free of charge.

3. When are the payments done?
You first bill will be charged in the days following your order. Afterwards, billing is processed on the first business day of each month.

4. What happens if my payment fails?
Please contact customer service to avoid any service interruption.

5. Can I temporarily suspend my account?
Advantages Internet does not offer temporary suspension for now.

6. Will the billing stop if I stop using the service?
No. It is your responsability to contact customer service if you no longer wish to keep our service..

7.Do I need to notify Advantages Internet if my credit card number changed?
Yes. Please contact customer service to update your payment information.

8. Do I need to inform Advantages Internet if I'm moving or changing my local phone provider?
Yes. Please contact customer service at least 5 business days in advance of such a change to avoid service interruption.
